I just can’t understand why we couldn’t move the ball in the second half. I don’t care about the D but this offense should be able to score 50+ pts against FCS teams.
I still think our D is improved from last year but offensively our run-game is the main problem (it’s not the RBs but the O-line somehow), the result is that we just can’t move the ball consistently.
Vidal should be our feature back from now on, he is clearly our best RB. Where is C.Strong, haven’t seen him in a while?
Watson didn’t play well in the second half, he was playing hero ball and just trying to force things. He is still young, so I don’t blame him.
Coaches did not prepare the team properly. We probably didn’t even game plan for this game.

I’m so glad you brought this up because I couldn’t agree more. Yesterday we had 8 failed drives. 3 turnovers and 5 punts. Consider where 2 of the turnovers happened at, the defense deserves tons of credit for only allowing 6 points off of the 3 turnovers. Vidal definitely seems like the best back we have. He’s more explosive and gets into the next level very quickly. As far as QB play, GW doesn’t seem to look comfortable in the pocket going through progressions. It seems he looks at his first read and if that’s not open he instantly wants to check down. His first INT yesterday was indicative of that. You can go back and watch the film and see that he never looked at another receiver. He felt pressure, got happy feet and launched the ball off balance. He just doesn’t seem comfortable in the pocket after the first read. To me, that says more about the coaching than the player, especially when the head coach is also the QB’s coach, especially because it seems that GW has all of the physical tools needed to be an excellent pocket passer at this level.
