Received from Troy Athletics late today:
"I am sending you this email in case you are interested in attending the Battle for the Belt - our away game vs. South Alabama on Saturday, October 3rd. South Alabama will only send us tickets for player’s family members. We will not receive any tickets to sell on their behalf for this game.
You can still purchase tickets for this game through secondary ticket websites: Seatgeek.com, Stubhub.com, or Vividseats.com.
There are only 50-60 tickets remaining for this game on the secondary ticket websites, so if you plan to attend I would encourage you to secure your tickets soon. If you know of anyone that is not a season ticket holder that may want to attend, please share this information with them."
Just checked stubhub, ask ranges from $96 to $720 per butt.
I propose a HUGE watch party, socially distanced of course, in Troy for the game. WE can have a helluva time watching the Gags for about $20 per head.

While I like the atmosphere of being at a game, I totally understand. If we want to have more games, we have to do stuff like this.

Great idea!
Between receiving cancellation notice yesterday due to our hotel damaged by the hurricane and South season ticket holders trying to price gouge Troy Trojans to prevent us from outnumbering them in their stadium ... we are IN for a watch party!
For those that do NOT know, Cornhole can plan and execute an event!!!

Would be cool if Troy did another watch party on the field of veterans memorial stadium. I'm not sure how many they have done since, but I recall going to one around 10 years ago or so that showed the MTSU game.

Just need the bathrooms open and pay for security/power.

I can't help thinking that part of this is about being out numbered at Ladd the last couple of games, they're trying to avoid the same thing happening at their shiny new stadium.

I looked on two sites yesterday and tickets were between $160-240. And, I'm thinking about it. I've tried not to do alot of the what-ifs but a Saturday game in Mobile - we would have had 10,000 Trojans there!
