BYU is stomping a mud hole in Navy right now. 24-0 with 5 minutes left in first half.

I would be prepping for the MUTS and BYU kind of at the same time. However as good as Army looked Navy looks bad.

I have low to no expectations for BYU. We're going to get stomped and bad. (The HC we don’t speak of) will make an excuse about how we can't be expected to compete at that level and how the constraints of the season mean we shouldn't have high expectations, then we'll move on to the next game.
Are we getting any money for it or is the return game the only payment?

IMO, BYU looks good because Navy’s defense didn’t get to hit on anybody in fall camp. They didn’t use the locker room or team rooms. I think this lack of preparation makes BYU look good.

They played assignment football and were extremely physical. Another week isn't going to help Troy. This entire season of college football is going to come down to who stayed focused and did the right things over the summer. If all we did during quarantine was throw tires around in the back yard, we'll be in bad shape for BYU. If (The HC we don’t speak of), Rusty, and Co. made the most of the offseason, we'll make a bowl, if there are any to be had.

What was the reasoning? Army looked awesome in its win 42-0 Navy certainly looked really bad, but BYU passes the eye test for a pretty good team. They will be tough to beat.

What was the reasoning? Army looked awesome in its win 42-0 COVID was the reason. At least that was the impression I got from the broadcasters. Navy was doing everything they could think of to keep the players healthy. Navy just looked like a team thrown together at the last minute without knowing a game plan or who their opponent was.
