Silvers is starting QB for Seattle in XFL. He just throws a TD and I find myself saying “touchdown, men of Troy.” Wait, don’t think that works anymore. 😀

He’s still a man of Troy.

I was at the game - rooting for DC - but also rooting for Silvers. He made some great throws but also had at least 3 interceptions. His receivers kept dropping catchable balls as well.
Overall, surprisingly fun game. At one point Jonathan Massaquoi sacked Silvers - I didn't realize he was on the Defenders. It sure was cold today, but there was a great crowd, all considered.

After first quarter Silvers 1/5 but close to getting it together. Kind of like this XFL stuff

After first quarter Silvers 1/5 but close to getting it together. Kind of like this XFL stuff I like it as well. Silvers missed some practice this week and he had rust in the first half. He looked good in the second half. I think I am a Seattle Dragons fan now.

I have now watched two full games in the XFL that is officially the same as the entire NFL season as in one Packer game and the Super Bowl. It may well be a doomed novelty but for now the set up is pretty good with TV and some of their innovations. If just one is adopted to other football such as college or the NFL I think it will be the kickoff set up. I like the replay too and am not to fond of the real drawn out last two minute of each half. Meanwhile without a full week of practice you could see a bit of timing off for Silvers. I have actually been pleasantly surprised by how much I have enjoyed watching the XFL so far.
