Would all you chicken little fans rather have the 10th rated recruiting class or the top rated class in the SBC ? Think some on here want the Trojans to fail in every which way and fashion. In reality you raise a good point in this way: if (The HC we don’t speak of) can pull off the number 1 (heck even 2-3) after this year and yes our banter on this site that is impressive. This then leads to this question: Is it easier to fix a problem with as good or better players than your competitor? So yes I would be happy to see this come to fruition and would be a good thing even if More heavily weighted toward offense Exactly. If (The HC we don’t speak of) falls off a cliff next year and AD Brent has the gumption to do something about it, wouldnât we want the next HC have the best available talent.

[/twitter][/quote] Some folks have him as a 4 star. Getting a lot of SEC interest.

Rankings are great, BUT remember these are mostly 17, 18 and 19 year olds making life decisions. I spend most of my days interacting with them and THIS year’s group is SO different from previous years!!
ALL of that to say, once they SIGN and that paper is in the possession of Troy Athletics I will get a LITTLE excited. The Trojan Nation STILL has to develop them from that point forward!! That includes academics, athletic ability, attitude, and how they interact with others.
In the later years of CLB’s tenure I personally expressed to players for them to focus on L C D - Leadership, Character, and Discipline. When XCNB arrived that personal campaign faded away because I saw the staff stressing the same thing 👍🏼
A week from TODAY we will have a better idea of WHY things have been SO quiet with the current staff. Division I Football (Early Period) and mid year JUCO transfers - December 18, 2019 ⚔️

Recruiting is the lifeblood of any sport. We’ve got the Jimmies and Joes. We had the talent to win 9 at a minimum this year. We need a winning culture in the locker room. That’s starts at the very top. We need some X’s and O’s to win on the field.

That’s starts at the very top. We need some X’s and O’s to win on the field. Exactly. All these stars are great but they are measured by recruiting services. Currently our best player walked on and probably was a zero or one star. There is no rating service for heart and desire and I 110% agree we need leadership and a championship attitude in the locker room. I'm already sick of this "Aw Shucks" crap.....You play to win every game and you never, ever accept losing. We are Troy not NE Central Lousiana

How come DE Richard Jibunor, the guy that is transferring in from Auburn, isn't being counted toward this year's class? LB Jayden McDonad from Iowa is listed as part of the class on 247Sports. I don't really understand that.
Any ideas?
