What did we expect from the scraps wiped off of Gus's Thanksgiving plate?

It was a middle C due to the massive defensive personnel issues until the last 2 games. Although we are 3 plays away from being 8-4, the last two games in which in literally got our a$$es whipped was unacceptable. They say the biggest improvement is between year one and two. (The HC we don’t speak of) is a nice guy. Just talk to him. His personality is opposite of Neal Brown. Although nobodyâs first, second or third choice, he is our coach and I support the program in the good and bad times. Will he be successful ? I hope so because that means my Trojans are successful, which we all want. Only time will tell.
For next year, AD Brent (in the back of his mind) is praying for a complete disaster or a 10 win season, so his decision is a no brainer either way. AD Brent still has a lot to prove, he can only live off of AD whatâs his name decisions for so long.
Grade = D
Go Trojans. Shout out to the womenâs volleyball program!

F.... a bad F IMO
I thought with this team the worse he could do is 7-5 and I’d have given him a D for that alone.

F.... a bad F IMO I thought with this team the worse he could do is 7-5 and I’d have given him a D for that alone. 7-5 would have been acceptable given the departures via graduation, the portal, and injuries, so long as the defense made considerable strides throughout the year. We didn't go 7-5, and the bright flashes we saw on defense are heavily skewed by the complete offensive ineptitudes of several of our opponents. Our schedule saw no real middle of the road offense this year. There were three or four teams that were on the verge of breaking Sun Belt scoring records, and the rest were DII quality offenses. Its great that we started 22 different players on defense this year, that's experience that's hard to come by, but I'm skeptical of the how helpful that experience will be. C- or D+

Five wins (FCS, 0-12 Akron, 2-10 USA, 7-5 Ga Southern, 3-9 Tex St)
Against the West and East Sun Belt Champions outscored 101-16
Took a finely tuned performance car and turned it into a Smart Car.
Grade F

C- or D+Many of those didnât happen till after (The HC we don’t speak of) was announced at HC. We wonât ever know everyoneâs motive, but would any of those players have stayed if we hired Sumrall or even Vic Koenning as HC instead? I wouldnât have been overly excited about it but I think Vic Koenning would have gotten us bowling this year.

I give him an AA that is like a double A. Why you ask? I believe in seeing the silver lining. NO this is not Kool-aide it is a silver lining. I think a 12 step program for improvement is what we need or at least we could benefit from the most.

Another season like 2019, we’ll all need to go to AA.

There is NO silver lining when going 5-7 after 31 wins in 3 years.

Although we are 3 plays away from being 8-4 What did Neal Brown teach you? We don't play the moral victory game anymore. 3 Offensive plays and approx. 72 defensive plays. The season results were NOT even closely due to the O.

There is NO silver lining when going 5-7 after 31 wins in 3 years. I was being facetious with the double A and thus saying a silver lining. As in AA’s 12 step Program being available to us Being the silver lining.

I kind of like the poll graphic. Sums up fan thoughts pretty well (of the most vocal of us any anyway). I don’t believe there is a silent majority or even a sizable minority that sees this last seasons coaching job better than a C. With the dominating percentage D or less. The graphic is great in that a picture is worth a thousand words

I agree with everything else you said here, but Vic's days as a head coach are gone.

Let’s actually speak of our numerical grade. These days a 60 is a D. Yep it was a 60.2 from me and next year if we can not learn to go under center for two inches to go it might get an F
