DK has 777 yards so far and well on his way to being a 1,000 yard rusher. He's doing a great job. The running back room next season is beyond stacked next season with DK, BJ, Frye, Strong, Wolfolk, Woods, and Vidal (if signed).

Am I the only one that has noticed DK Billingsley has gotten faster over the past couple of weeks? I mean... NOTICEABLY faster.
He's running differently than he did the first half of the season.

I do not know how he will do in the end. However, when stories like DK’s come up I am reminded of Tiki Barber who was a third or fourth string tailback at Virginia and was not going to get a chance till their injuries leading him to Virginia game an a really good NFL career. What is the old saying? When opportunity knocks: open the door!

What is the old saying? When opportunity knocks: open the door! More stories just like that. In the NFL to notable ones that ended with one in the HOF and the other the GOAT and future HOF (Kurt Warner and Tom Brady). Both got to start because of injuries and never gave the job back. And at Troy we all remember a certain QB sitting at 3rd string and look what happened
