I'll play along. I'm only going to rank the ones I've seen play personally and give my Top 5.
Boris Bear (absolutely the best pair to play together) Kannoris (See ball, hit ball) Davis Jimmy McClain Anthony Rabb
I'm glad to see you list Nick Colbert as an honorable mention. I sometimes think the guys who played in what I'd call the slot years of the Southland (between the 2 National Championships and the move to Div 1A) are somewhat overlooked in the discussions of TROY greats. The Southland years under CLB produced some GREAT football and maybe the last 3 yards and a cloud of dust, power, wear 'em down and beat in the 4th quarter football we'll ever see in TROY.

That's a good list and thanks. Stats helps to balance out the successes of each era. Don't forget to vote in the poll too. That helps me make my fan list. forms.gle/JcVbN1MpgNDMpKWL8

I want to amend the above statement. I referenced what I called the slot years between the 2 national championships and the Div IA move. I should have said the LAST 2 national championships. I in no way intended to omit the NAIA championship won in 1968. No disrespect was intended, my apologies to those fine TROJANS (Red Waves) who led the way.

#1 Garrick Pimienta (Pimp)
Stats back that up. #1 in almost every statistical category
No doubt we have had some great ones come through Troy and we might have a current LB right now that ends up being the best that played here.

Just a few mins after we were writing abt him, he comes up with a pick 6. Let’s write often during the next few games... Lololol. Seriously, he doesn’t need help - he’s got a nose for the ball.
