No they wouldn’t. They are well aware of what Dana did to that program. Hemi, Do you really believe the defensive talent is the same as it was last year for Troy program ? And nobody will ever say that DC Hall is on the same plane as DC VK was, so take that out of the equation. And these guys are still playing hard, that counts. I believe the talent level is similar. If the recruiting sites are any indication. I think they lack experience and maturity at this point. The players are playing their all. There’s no doubt about that.

WV would probably be glad to give him back. Haha! (And I would take him provided he comes with a good DC.) No they wouldn’t. They are well aware of what Dana did to that program. That was meant to be a joke. Well, the giving him back part. Not the I'd love to have him back part.

Anyways, we should all stop acting like bandwagon fans... I'm not really seeing any bandwagon fans. Lots of people criticizing the coaching, but the coaches are NOT the program. There may be rumblings of fewer dollars given if there isn't positive change, but no one is threatening to leave Troy football behind. Hell, if we survived through Abilene Christian as a fan base, we'll survive a bad season under (The HC we don’t speak of) (The HC we don’t speak of).

Those are all the political correct answers instead of the hard nosed truths that we all need to hear. Kind of like the fight I have on a daily basis with the girlfriend. Just rip off the band aid and let the sound heal up quicker. I don't think it's politically correct at all. I think it's 100% revealing. Since day one, the "we'll see what happens", "we're gonna try real hard", and the "I thought we were solid" after a loss, shows a real lack of depth. And by depth I mean that he's only looking at things from a surface level point of view as if things will just take care of themselves. There's no thought of building a program, and at this point that's what the main concern should be. Every snap should be an investment for the future. We're either getting better or we're not. The whole "our destiny is not our own" and "we'll just fight for each other on the field" is nonsense. The defense is the worst I've ever seen it, and I'm not sure Brandon Hall even exists. Dude is a ghost, we never even hear from him. What you all see if what he wants the public to hear....remember who else sees these....next weeks competitors, recruits, parents, administration, etc... Consider that what he thinks and says in private is not the same....

Anyways, we should all stop acting like bandwagon fans... I'm not really seeing any bandwagon fans. What board are you reading? Have you not seen all the "I'm not buying season tickets anymore" or "I'm not going to any more games until..." type posts?? That's about as SORRY a fan as it gets!! Heck, I'm smack dab in the middle of mostly FSU fans and they HATE Willie Taggart and would burn him in effigy right now but there isn't a one of them whom I've heard basically say "I'm pulling my support from the program until things change/we win/it's worth going/the athletic dept. powders my behind and feeds me grapes while I lay on a pillow during half-time". They still drive to Tally. They still support the university. They know they need a change but they don't withhold their support to try and force it to happen, like the college football answer to protesting, boycotting Antifa liberal idiots. Honestly, I wouldn't give you .02 for them. Or for that matter, the board members who haven't posted squat here since the LAST time TROY was going through rough times and they needed to log on and sound off. Anyone else notice the TroyXX members who've got about 40 or 50 posts over years of joining and who have been MIA with nothing to contribute until it's time to moan, B*(TC, and whine about something? Whatever. I'll still be a TROY fan. Even with bitter, ignorant fans like that.

As Trojanocean says, there are those who say things like they are leaving or withdrawing support etc. kind of disheartening in a way. However, almost all boards have that flavor. These boards seem to be therapy for some. (And not good therapy I might add) Trying to make you feel better and that is when things are going well. Then when things are going bad it try’s to push you the other way by simply mob mentality. At best it’s a lesson in how to show SOME of our posters that they have bipolar tendencies. So come to board for validation of their thoughts an opinions. Thus it’s bad therapy. Then reality gets most of us and everyone looks forward to a new year (just like the Cubs fans for years) These boards do swing back and forth with the fortunes of the teams and they are all like that. Fun when winning and just a tad painful to watch group think that maybe opposed to your group think on a board. I am not sure if they are SORRY fans but very predictable to say the least. Faith gives you hope in spite of reality sometimes. So if some fans say they are not going to support or something like that I assume they are just blowing steam In a way most of us would not.

It's my money, I earned it. Spending or not spending it on Troy is the only way my opinion matters. So you are telling me that I have to spend my money and make sacrifices by packing up the family and traveling to Troy no matter what product they put on the field. Aww shucks. Next time yall see (The HC we don’t speak of) and his shiny Rolex Submariner on campus. Know that TBB is sitting home wearing his... the one he bought with his Troy money.

Honestly, no, I haven't seen that many. And what I have seen is from people who have been around the program longer than I have, have been down the bad coaches road before, and who come every year regardless. It's the same annual chain rattling we get every year when something bad happens. No one is abandoning the program.

Exactly, one can’t replace experienced Jr and Sr that have been in the same system for years and replace them with Fr and inexperienced personal along with a new system and expect the same results. Now, have the coaching staff put them in the best position every time, heck no. One can see that in game. Have these inexperienced players put themselves in the wrong position on field, heck yes. One can see that in the game.

There are a lot of teams starting freshman and are doing a lot better than we are. Alabama has 10 freshman starting on defense at times. Their defense hasn't missed a beat. I know that they get all the recruits but there is no reason Troy can't fill in the gaps and compete in the SunBelt. I hate Alabama and am hoping their freshman on defense start playing like ours. I am sick of hearing about Alabama so don't think I am a bamer. I am just frustrated with the excuse that we have freshman playing.

UCF went from 0-12 to 6-6 with a true freshman qb, new coach and new system and Frost system was polar opposite to O'Leary. App St is sitting at 7-0 and #20 with a new coach brought in from outside. We had some of the top recruiting classes under NB and now we have below average talent? No we don't, the players are not the problem. Give me a break on the excuses

Losing sucks. Fair weather fans are real. I’m not giving up my prime seats because of losses. In regards to my post about tickets. I love my north end zone seats and probably will keep them. But I look at the Trojan warrior program like tipping. If the service a server provides is exceptional, they receive an exceptional tip. At least 30%. But at the same time, if the service is subpar, they receive a subpar tip. You have to send them a message that their service wasn't good. So relate that to the Trojan warrior plan. If I continue giving the amount I have always given, then the administration believes that I am all in on the product on the field. Which I am not. I have to deliver the message to them that I do not approve of what they are doing. I could keep the same donation going and make sure it is allocated to other portions of the athletic department. I'm sure volleyball or the women's basketball team could use 100% of my donation. Just my thoughts. I love my Trojans and I work hard for my money so I need to make wise investments in my entertainment.

I know several prominent former players (and No, I did not but highly considering it) that have sent letters to Hawkins expressing their displeasure. So rest assured the Administration is knowing that at the least there are former players who gave their blood, sweat and tears to this program that are not happy with what they are hearing and seeing.

What drives me crazy right now is I want to get behind coach (The HC we don’t speak of) but he has got to give me something to get behind. A leader needs to inspire, a leader needs to be optimistic and the coach isn't pointing to anything in the future to let me know things will get better. Why should I stay the course?

I don't think (The HC we don’t speak of) would fun to hang with on the weekends, or that he's well suited for a HC role, or that he is interesting to listen to, or that he assembled a quality staff.....But you best believe DT will always keep good seats and send money baring some financial disaster.
Quitting giving to athletics = Entering transfer portal. Both are for snowflakes.

You always support your school but that doesn't mean accepting sub par. I buy season tickets every year even though I'm lucky right now with work if I can attend a game (12 hour round trip drive). The last two years the game I had set aside (letter winners game) we had two hurricanes here in paradise . I still have my Troy degree, team pics, helmet pen holder, signed football, multiple mini-helmets, Troy mouse pad, Troy calculator, Troy snack helmet, stadium picture and other Troy merchandise decorating my office. I'm going to try to make Homecoming in two weeks. Let's always strive for greatness. Go Trojans!!
