He reminds me so much of a guy I played with that is our all time tackle leader and HOF...Garrick Pimienta. Both undersized but had heart and flat out found the ball and hit you. He is a pleasure to watch play

He will impact this team at LB far more than he ever would at DB, even if he turned out to be the best DB in TROY history.

His instinct and explosion to the ball is something else. Got a chance to watch him some saturday at field level ... so impressive. And, not sure what he's listed at ... but likely smaller. Just a baller ... plain an simple. We have some promising young players on that side of the ball ... they'll get better ... and Martial is for sure a young leader over there!

I know he is a great LB...maybe the best in the country at finding the ball. Our defense needs more play makers like him. Nobody is going to move him from LB π

I knew you were complimenting him but thought you were seriously suggesting we move him.

He ought to be conducting tackling drills. his technique is classic. It appears that there is a reason why McGill-Toolen is a prep powerhouse. Someone is doing a good job with coaching fundamentals

Of all the bad things we saw on defense Saturday, Carlton Martial should be praised. This dude was a walk-on, became scholarship player, then preseason all American and Oh yeah, he is a Sophomore. Great guy and great player!

Great guy and great player! Heart, lots and lots of heart. Still plays like he wants a scholarship. You can't have enough guys like him.
