Winning the games it should...and easily. Still struggling with top-tiered competition. But, they should be able to compete well in da'Belt. Lookin like a 30-35 win season which would be great. 40+ wins is still possible. Then we are talking maybe NCAA Tournament.

I'm still sour about all the previous season Troy has been snubbed from the NCAA's. Troy has never gotten a fair shake when it comes to softball going to the NCAA Tournament...
The 1998 season Troy had a 46-17 record and swept Auburn, beat Georgia Tech, and Florida State. Top 55 RPI.
The 1999 season, Troy had a 48-23 record, won the A-Sun West Division, beat Wisconsin and beat Georgia Tech three times.
The 2003 season Troy had a #42 RPI, record of 39-20. Wins over #3 Nebraska, Auburn, Georgia Tech, and Virginia.
The 2005 season was a major snub... Troy went 47-21, won the A-Sun title, swept Florida State, beat Maryland, and beat #17 Georgia Tech. Top 50 RPI.
The 2007 season where we went 42-20... The ladies beat Georgia Tech, Auburn, took one game from #12 Louisiana, and had a Top 50 RPI.
The 2008 when we went 33-23, but had a Top 55 RPI with wins over Auburn, Louisville, and Florida State (twice). All of them played in a regional.

Only way they get to the NCAA is win the conference tournament. Getting beat badly by SEC schools will not help. SEC, PAC 12 especially have a ton of top level teams that will go plus throw in the ACC, Big 12, Big 10 and the FCS football conferences that play D1 that get an automatic bid. I've seen ULL and South both get bids one year but both teams were very good that year. ULL lost their coach and South is young and talented. We will see when we play. A bunch of our non P5 OOC opponents had losing records last year so it's a little tough to know just yet.
