That is a great match-up for them. It could only be better if the game were in New Orleans.

Another reason this East-West divisions is BS. Three best teams were in the East and two of them are having to play Bowl Games in Alabama against MAC teams while LA La (who we killed) will enjoy Disney, Sea World and Universal. Pretty good for being a average team in a mediocre division of the Sun Belt. Play every team in the conference and best team is champion

App was favored in the game against Troy as well as the championship game. They were really just playing odds, and that's likely why they were able to make that deal for this year to take the loser. The only way Troy was getting out of Alabama this year was to win the championship and go to New Orleans. If we had been in the championship, no way Dollar General or Camillia give up there 2nd/3rd picks to Cure.

Tulane played the Cajuns in the Superdome a few years ago and drew over 50k . Still a record for the New Orleans Bowl

The fan ratio was about 5,000 Tulane fans and 50,000 ULaLa fans. The Rajun Cajuns OWNED Bourbon street for days! Great atmosphere!! Tulane coulda, shoulda won but that head coach made bizarre changes in the second half. He's not there anymore. As an aside, Jon Sumrall, Tulane's defensive position coach, Coached his last game that night and was hired by CNB to come to Troy shortly thereafter. I think they will have a fine Bowl occasion in Orlando.

I'm doing bowl picks for work. I want to believe all the Sun Belt teams will win their bowls, but I'm also a realist. The line right now is 3 points in favor of Tulane. Think Louisiana has what it takes to beat them?
