Coach doesn't seem confident to me about this game Yea, I can see where you see that it is oozing out of his press conferences.

With our Top 5 receivers questionable or worse and our top running back banged up I'd be concerned too. We can say next man up all we want, but there is a limit to how much that actually works. This is a very serious deal. Next man up for sure, but I wouldn't wish this injury situation on any one.

Next man up for sure, but I wouldn't wish this injury situation on any one. - #1 Agree, the injuries are real and a challenge for our team, no doubt. - But I would prefer a more positive, “we can do this” tone from coach. - Heard, “we are a 10.5 underdog and that about right”, “we just trying to survive”, he went over App St. stats for a good while, stating over and over how good they are. - Again rather would hear how we are going to overcome and fight instead of possible reasons why we will lose. - How can we “Dominate and Destroy” instead of “Survive and Advance” - Didn’t App lose their stud RB ? They have injuries too. - losing Barker caused a bigger issue in the offensive scheme/play calling/production than Coach has stated previously. He is hamstrung from his playbook quite a bit.

To quote “Animal House” did we give up when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor”. No! The point is that on paper App should beat us. We may still win but wewewewe are not favored nor should we be. However, that is why we play the game. The games are not played on paper. Go TROY!!!!

I'm okay with feeding a conservative line about how battered we are to the media. I'm actually okay with a lack of fire in the press and on YouTube. So long as he's building them up and setting them on fire for the game in the locker room. True or not, I'm perfectly happy with App thinking we're half broken coming in. As long as he has the players ready.

This is what great stories are made of. If we win, we will talk about how this team overcame all adversity. I’m pumped!

Let the Nancy's negative. In DT's college days the best results came from the slow play. Yea dragging one home from the porch was nice but not near as satisfying. Neal has a plan.

The odds are stacked against the Trojans this week. Neal Brown is stating the obvious.
There’s some people on here who claimed we wouldn’t win five games after the loss to Boise St and some that said we wouldn’t win any games with Sawyer Smith at quarterback.
Troy football is in the best shape ever and the future is bright.

It didn't look good for us just after the clock struck 0.

It’s like putting a slab of ribs on the smoker for ten minutes, eating them, and then deciding ribs aren’t good.

I just don't see how this doesn't define the season. The goal is to win the conference. That is at stake, kind of confused why everyone who speaks emphasizes that.
