Overall I enjoy the gameday experience at Troy, think they have done many things to make it great. But one thing that they can’t seem to get right is the audio system. Either the refs mic is messed up and sounds terrible or everything they play is 10x as loud as it needs to be and sounds terrible. I’m all for the music and creating an environment but dang it’s bad!

I agree 100% and for all the emphasis on the "game day experience", there have been no efforts to fix that issue. It's not only volume, it's the frequent playing of the music over either the PA or the SOS. I personally think that the SOS does a good enough job creating atmosphere we don't need the canned stuff.

We are in the NEZ and we love the loud sound system (especially the intros for offense/defense). Please don't change that!
The ref's mics are always bad.
The guy controlling music in the booth needs to somehow coordinate with SOTS.
Surf Report: Temp is 62, water is 75, wind is blowing 5-11 mph out of the N. The low tide was at 1:55 pm and the high tide will be at 9:29 pm. Surf is flat today and likely more of the same tomorrow.

I wish they'd wake the replay guy up. I've complained about the relative LACK of replays at the Vet for years.
WE visit other venues and we see nearly every play. I do not understand what's up???
(sigh)

I wonder IF the volume problems are designed to mask, hide, conceal, disguise, cover up, screen, cloak, camouflage, veil the LACK of sound coming from our fan base? I was amazed with five minutes left in the Louisiana game and Louisiana had third down right outside the red zone (the outcome had not been decided), I looked and ONE person was standing and cheering in sections 100 - 114. Yesterday with a similar situation it appeared even worst, the ONE person who had been standing two weeks earlier had already packed up and left the stadium. PLEASE tell me that the upper level on the home side is loud, noisy, blaring, booming, deafening, roaring, thunderous, ear-splitting, ear-piercing because that is what I long for in The Vet!!! Unfortunately from my seats I see the lower area and the east stands and I think Wimbledon has more movement and noise

His requests went mostly ignored. There’s certain times you just need to stand and yell if you made the decision to attend a sporting event.

I don't care about the volume but I would absolutely - no joke - pay the university money if they would never again play that moronic Mo Bambo song on our campus again. As much as I love going to Troy football games, that trash makes me want to leave and never come back. That garbage is proof that you can have ZERO talent or brain cells and still laugh all the way to the bank at the expense of a society of idiots who are not intelligent enough to NOT give whoever vomited that crap into the world the time of day. It is unrespectable on every possible level.
