The Clampets are healthy, focused and ready. They might lay 50 on us.
I dont care who is hurt, we are a lazy team. We have been for some time now. Like 15 years. Back to Larry's renegade IAA teams that would maul a team like Texas State by 65 points and not give two flips about doing it either. Chan Gailey teams were always focused too.
Yeah, I get it. We win 9-10 games a year and that's great but lets not kid ourselves, we are a long way away from being UCF or Boise or even The Clampets.

Wow. Correct. Literally coaching not to lose. CNB is coaching scared.
What we had 6 Turnovers. 6 ! and no Touchdowns. Wow. What happened to the gunslinger, innovative offensive coaching that was CNB.
Yes QB play was worse than 2 day old puke but we have to make some changes or App smokes us like pig.
Thanks to VK and the defense, they have literally won several games this year.

We beat App by 2 scores, write it down. Hey, not get Ho wrong. TMTDM has way of magically turn on switch but switch must be on all season. Monday through Sunday. But Ho fear Clampets all lather up for this game. In old day TMTDM go into Boone and knock Hillbilly in teeth. Ho have no idea what team show up this week.

We are going to have to throw for more than 79 yards on 37 attempts and score more than 12 points that much is known. We needed to blow the Armadillos out and carry that momentum into Boone. The Banjo boys laid 46 points on the puddy tats from Ga State. Got to have a complete game this Sat. We better be firing on all cylinders in every aspect of our game

When’s the last time we laid an egg two weeks in a row? It’s been a minute! Everybody chill...CNB will have them ready to go next week! Yes we have 9 wins and still a good shot at 12 for the first time ever!! The sky is not falling and we are playing for the sunbelt east title next weekend!! Havoc!

I like Ho as much as the next Bourbon smelling cigar smoking Trojan, but I don't think we are lazy. I think we are battle weary and having to stretch our roster. I also think that we raid Boone and kick over their moonshie stills like it is the 1920s.

The other team either stopped us or we were going to keep scoring. Some of LBs early teams were just absolutely stone cold ruthless. The second time we ever played in the 'boro, GaSouth NEVER crossed the fifty. Even late in the game. We walked into Lake Charles one Saturday night during our first playoff run, in front of a packed house of 30k and punched McNeese so hard in the mouth they haven't recovered. I haven't seen that in this team yet. YET.

Just a thought: "not losing" ... is Winning! I'll take "not losing" every time!! App is really good! We could play really well and still lose. But, we're playing for the first ever East Division ... and chance to host first ever Conf. Championship! I'll take it for sure!

We beat App by 2 scores, write it down. What I wrote down. APP's average score thru ten games 35+ ADD tWO scores, (Field goals, seems what were best at) = 41+ 41+ / Field Goals = 14 Field Goals If it can be done, Tyler CAN DO IT!

TMTDM is the best Defense in the SBC. So take App's points way down. I think we hold them to 3 TDs. I also think coach was sandbagging. I think we roll in there and score touchdowns.

Been going to Troy games since '89. Granted that was not the best Texas State team, but that was the best I have seen a Troy Defense play.

Here are my thoughts on the defense, which coupled with $ 3.45 will get you a latte at Dunkin Donuts. The defense was outstanding but not in a BOOM!, big hit, sexy kind of way. They did their jobs...in a complete and devastating manner...one could say "professionally". Hunter Reece baited a screen pass and broke to pick it, you'll never see a screen defended better. Another screen was tipped up in the air and picked. Rookard took advantage of Vitt trying to force a ball into the end zone, high pointed the throw and picked it off. For his second int, he read the pass, broke underneath on the throw to a receiver, who was open enough to catch the pass had it reached him. We picked off another when Vitt overthrew his receiver and the DB caught it like he was the intended receiver.
At least 3 of the 5 INTs were the result of Vitt making bad plays. Maybe we caused him to make those plays, maybe not, but for us to make the interceptions, guys had to be doing their jobs, they had to be where they were suppose to be. As I said, not big BOOM, but, as others have said, maybe the most technically correct and impressive game ever played by a TROY defense. If we can play like this next week, App WILL get frustrated, they Will start pressing, they WILL make mistakes and we will win in an impressive manner. If we end up in a shoot out, I'm afraid we will lose unless the reported sandbagging includes sitting guys who aren't really hurt (Don't shoot me, this was said in jest, I know guys are hurt and without them, we don't win a shoot out). We need to be dominating on defense, as we were Saturday, and efficient on offense. If we do, we'll play 12/1 at The Vet.

I was going to say a lot more, but I'll keep it to this: this team is beat to hell physically. Fortunately we had a backup QB that could start for any other team in the conference, and one of the best defensive minds in the country. I think we go into Boone with a few healthy and rested receivers and with our D we'll have a chance to win.
This forgone conclusion that we'll lose is ridiculous. We've got 9 wins and I've never seen Troy fans so defeatist before.

On one side of the ball we're forced to max it out 60 minutes every game. Allowing those on the other side to use it is the issue.

When anything goes bad the half full group (no let us call them the “My glass is almost empty and it’s going to empty and I have no idea what I am going to do group). They are always willing to say the sky is falling. Look up the old thread after Kaleb was hurt. “Absolutely no chance of getting to ten wins. Etc”

Neal was sandbagging. This is the same guy who called some literally insane 4th down plays the week before. He has the defense to sandbag this past weekend and keep the plays were working on for App disclosed.
Everyone relax. 1:30pm CST Saturday will be here soon enough.
