In the year 2018, I know there are dozens of apps and websites that do this, but I'm planning my travel for the big game and see multiple options to get to "GATA" town. I've been all over the country, but never this part of the world. Anyone with experience recommend a route from Troy to Statesboro?
Thanks, I'll hang up and listen.

Go to over to Columbus and through Reynolds and Fort Valley to I16. There really is no easy way to get there.

Go to over to Columbus and through Reynolds and Fort Valley to I16. There really is no easy way to get there. You can get to Columbus multiple ways the best route is take 29 through Banks until Union Springs then left on Hicks Industrial Park Blvd. That will run you into 82 take a right onto 82 then a left on 51. Stay on 51/ 26 until you run into 431. Take a left on that then take 280 west until J.R. Allen Parkway turn right on to it then that should run into 96. I would recommend trying to avoid afternoon rush hour on JR Allen. Also after Columbus there isn't many places to stop until Fort Valley. Lane's Peaches outside Fort Valley is a nice place to stop. Several great restaurants in the Columbus/ Phenix City area to stop and eat. PCTrojan16 and I are born and raised in the Columbus area and can answer just about any questions. You will also go through several home towns of current players.

Definitely follow Hemi directions - Fort Valley - my childhood town until age 10 - fine folks in Fort Valley and of course - The Mixon Twins - future defensive stars for us from there too as well as a running back that is red shirting.
Stop by Lane Packing and grab some real Peach Cobbler.

Never much of a hemi fan only because of the style of car they put them in. I like the Trans AM's they put out in 70 - 75, but I would like a 1978 TA 6.6 with a rebuilt engine to my specks. I really like the 302,351 Boss, not the Boss 429, & 351 HO engines. Party On Hemi!

I’m partial to the 68 Dart. Anytime you can roll up to the dealer and buy a car with a sticker saying “Not intended for street use” is a win for me.

Go to over to Columbus and through Reynolds and Fort Valley to I16. There really is no easy way to get there. Came back from Savannah on this route recently and it is by far better. On the way over we went thru the Eufala route and had to stop for the wild hogs in the road in GA. There was however probably 30 dollar generals at the intersections and 4 way stops on that trip over. Lol

It's hard to get Nebraska tickets. They sell their stadium out for the preseason red/white game and have the longest regular season sell out in collage football.

Eagle Creek water is sacred and legendary. If we bottled it and placed it on the market for sale, your average Troy fan couldn't afford the product and your coaches and team would have to either steal it or pay an extraordinary price for it on the black market.
