Just FYI --- Just before travelling I always check that everything is still in order. This morning I checked rental car and rooms. Everything was cheaper so I re-booked all the rentals. Saved about $120. Don't know why everything is cheaper today than it was 3 months ago but it was. Maybe they were planning for a bigger crowd but Nebraska is always sold out anyway. Maybe something else cancelled, I don't know, but for $120 it was worth the time on the computer.
I'll be in Lincoln Friday night. If there are any Husker fans that know some good spots, I would welcome an invitation.

This was posted in another thread. Cross posting here in case you don't see it there. Enjoy the trip! Nebraska fan here.. Looking forward to a great weekend of football in Lincoln! I know some of you are coming up for the game and would love to recommend a few spots. Sandys, the Railyard, Brewskys are a few bar type spots within a mile of the stadium. Google Haymarket District and you will find all you need for the weekend. If you have time, head over to Omaha (45 mins) to sight see as there is not much to do in Lincoln in terms of entertainment. Talking football: I think you guys pose a bigger challenge than must experts think. The good news is that Martinez was cleared to play this week after practice today but its still TBD about his status for saturday. Also, an 11am game also creates an equalizer for the game, aka fans still waking up. My score prediction is 52-17 w Martinez, 30- 21 NU without Martinez. He is that big of difference maker on the field. Thanks and I hope everyone enjoys the weekend!
