Negatives:
Opponent: Boise St is a Top10 team this year. They are just that good. Most teams would have lost to them and we played with new QB/RBs today. Still sucks losing game1 at home. Coaches/play calling: Very conservative today Secondary: Not sure what's the issue here but we really need to get this corrected. Energy: Not much energy on the field. Why?
Positives:
Atendance: Looked pretty good on TV Barker: I like his mobility. He'll be fine.
Next games:
FAMU: I fully expect us to win Nebraska: The game vs Akron got cancelled and their #2 QB is planning to transfer. If we can fix our OL and secondary issues then we might see an upset here.
It could be worse, we could be Texas.

The lack of energy comes when a team such as Boise sucked it out of us. The band, the fans, and yes the players. When things get on a roll against you by a really good team energy just waifs away. These are not pros and while we had a good crowd it would have taken a competitive game to have kept many in to the game.

Sometimes you just have to pick yourself up off the floor and go back to work. I’m confident these players and coaches will do just that.

I don't want to hear this aww shucks they were a top 10 team stuff. Coach said it perfectly. "Our team needed to get hit in the mouth." Last night we would have lost to a conference opponent and looked just as bad. Our team has a lot of work to do.

Know who else needs to get hit in the mouth??? Whoever runs gameday concessions. "Let's not have hotdogs for the season opener." Let's see who else I can wish a smack on... That's pretty much it. Although... you couldn't buy this year's #onetroy shirt because they weren't available yet. Bookstore gets a pass... they are terrible, have been terrible for a long time... will probably be terrible for a long time... I don't even care about them anymore. Oh... big smack... whoever designed the north end zone with that stupid notch in the scoreboard. That thing sucks... put the camera people elsewhere and fill it in or shrink the videos so they don't look stupid.
Positives: 1. Sound of The South was on point 2. Game day staff was on point (Except concessions). You can tell the bathrooms were cleaned from last season. 3. Campus looked wonderful. 4. Freshman run is pretty cool now. I like it. 5. Lots of friendly tailgaters and I had some cool conversations with Boise folks.

I too wish to compliment the grounds people and the staff at TROY about how the campus looked. A great job and attention to flower beds to buildings to tailgate terrace. Great job by the folks who were in charge and those that did the work on those projects

Really can't figure that out, cause it's not like they didn't know how many people were coming. But concessions has always sucked. My expectations are so low for them that I no longer have any. Major props to the young lady standing between sections 112 and 114. She was a ticket hawk! No squatters in our section!

Respect for they are a top ten team and if they escape the injury bug they will finish in top 5. We are not. That is not aw shucks that is we MAY have thought a bit much about ourselves and we were taken out back by our big brother and pounded pretty well. However, little brothers can learn from it and be better in using their skills that are honed thru arse whoopins. We shall see. I will be there and cheer for the little brother who can grow up. HOWEVER, last nite big bro showed us a thing or two. There were some good lessons to take from this. I have no way of knowing what our end of year win total will be but as far as I am concerned it could still be 13-1. Not by last nites team but if little bro grows like I think their coaches can take them. YES it could happen!!!!

Boise came out in full pads for warm-ups. I just think you get ready to play with full pads on. You have to throw the ball with your shoulder pads, on you got to catch the ball with your shoulder pads on, you have to run with the ball with your shoulder pads on, you have to deep snap the ball with your shoulder pads on, you have to block with your shoulder pads on,and you have to tackle with your shoulder pads on

I see no reason to push the panic button.

Troy rebounded nicely after the Boise game last year and they'll do it again this year. I expect a 10 win season.
Your QB has talent. Tough way to get his feet wet but I think he will be a good one.
Your defense is good against the run and vulnerable to the pass, but a hot QB can throw on any defense if he has time.
You learn more from a loss than a win so go learn .... and BEAT NEBRASKA!

Amen, they FINALLY checked tickets ....but they do need to say on the job to mid 3qt. Ours was gone at halftime. He must have been a student because they all left at halftime as well!

Panic Button pushing is what several are really good at. It is what they excel at. Not Half Full guys at all. They are the my damn cup is almost empty guys. Besides they forget to always take their anti depressants but would never forget their depends because that would show that they wet themselves if someone says boo.

I refuse to give up on season after 1 loss to ranked opponent,if it were to Chattanooga then maybe I would be a half empty guy .

Are you from Dixie is permanently cut from the pregame show according to a couple of members of the SOTS... Sad times... What? Why? From what I heard it was timing purposes. Since they wanted to incorporate people playing in NEZ to start they had to drop something and they chose that
