With Karl Benson, commissioner of the Sun Belt Conference (SBC), looking to add a 12th team, is this what the future of the SBC will look like? Keep in mind that the 12th Team would need to be announced by June 2014 to be included in the 2015 season.
Sun Belt Football Conference - West Division
Arkansas State
Idaho
Louisiana - Lafayette
Louisiana - Monroe
New Mexico State
Texas State
Sun Belt Football Conference - East Division
Appalachian State
Georgia Southern
Georgia State
South Alabama
Troy
New Addition (Missouri State, JMU, Liberty...)
This alignment of an East and West Division would make for an easy travel schedule for Troy (geographically speaking).

I would say it's a strong possibility. JMU being the first choice. Liberty the second choice. Maybe Arkansas State is pushing for Missouri St to pit them back in the Eastern Division in this scenario.

As I previously mentioned, I would absolutely love to see JMU in the SBC. They bring a lot more to the table than Missouri State or Liberty. Unfortunately, it's all up to this guy:

Well JMU is out for the time being. Either MSU or Liberty. Would like to see Lamar too in the mix.
