If you sit on the upper deck on visitors side on the left it’s all general admission and you don’t have a assigned seat. Just find a open spot. Ah, I see. The thing is I paid $90 to sit at the 50 yard line 8 rows back. Would you rather sit at 50 yard line in enemy territory or sit in the junk seats with your peeps? It’s like that for all visiting teams.

I can tell you that you will not have to worry about the fans in this section giving you trouble unless you start the trouble. Heck, I have trouble sometimes just getting them to stand up and yell on key 3 down plays. Your seats are great, even if a little low, and you can't go wrong by keeping them. Welcome to TROY, enjoy your stay. HAVOC! And let slip the dogs of war!

Ok here goes my $ .02. I may take some shots for yelling "Get off my lawn" over part of what I have to say, but I think if everyone takes a moment to think about it, they'll realize I'm not really yelling that. Here goes. I can't wait to see The Vet sold out. I've anticipated that happening every year since the expansion (that's 15 years for you newbies). We've played Marshall, Missouri, Duke, MS State, Navy, AL State...all of which had the potential to sell out the venue and we haven't done it yet. I hope this is the game. I want to see 30,400+ at the corner of Wallace Dr and University. I want to see The Vet rock, I want to have problems getting into traffic when the game is over and I want to see bumper to bumper traffic all the way back to Dothan. I want a big time feel to this game. To that end, let me say this. If you plan to be at this game, come prepared to be involved. Don't come to sit on your hands and give a polite golf clap when TROY does something great. Don't plan to sit for 4 hours and complain if those around you don't (for those of you who have physical conditions that limit your ability to stand, please disregard this). Don't come and plan to have polite conversation with those around you. I want the noise in the stadium to require that I scream to my wife and whomever sits on the other side of me in order for them to hear me, but I don't want that to be caused by PA noise. I want to feel like I've been to a big time, southern, college football game, because believe me fellow TROJANS, that's what we will have on our hands September 1. As TROJANS, we can do this. We can make The Vet one of the most intimidating small venues in the country. Who's with me? HAVOC! And let slip the dogs of war! From a BSU fan, One of the best posts I have ever read.... Agreed. Hope the place rocks like VaTech. Nothing better than a throbbing crowd atmosphere

I don't know how you like to do football games i.e. do you get in early and get settled, watch some of the warm up, or just walk in just in time for the kick, but let me make a suggestion to you. Get to your seat at least 45 minutes prior to kick. We have one of the best bands in all of college football and their pregame show is better than most band's half time shows. As an added bonus, since the band plays to the home side, you will get the full effect. Prepare to be blow away by The Sound of the South as they play the TROJAN fanfare, among other pieces. The link below is a the fanfare, but it is nothing like the full effect, live version.
