So CNB not really pleased with our DEF but he said OFF had a good scrimmage (not great but good).
(DEF issues seem to be lack of extra effort and energy, while on the offensive side the major issue seems be be our running game)

2 weeks. These next 2 weeks are the most important of the season in my opinion. Champions will be made in the next two weeks. Whichever team wins in 2 weeks, Troy or Boise, will have the media attention to set up a storybook season. It all depends on who is going to work harder over the next 2 weeks. By game day, it's already been decided.

Did anyone make it to the scrimmage? It's tough to gauge a team by scrimmage I think ... it depends on how good each unit really is. I did hear coach say that in spring the offence didn't do much at all against the D. So, hopefully ... with it being more even in the Fall it's a sign of improvement on the offensive side? The O-line has looked pretty good in the work/scrimmage I've seen. I think with all the weapons we have ... our Offense will be hard to contain, as long as we take care of the ball. We can really use the heat/humidity to our advantage if we can keep their defense on the field! I think both QBs can extend some drives with runs/scrambles as needed.

After winning a championship, is the team hungry? Coach has some concerns, and Vic has concerns about fundamentals. Hopefully that's just par for the course this time of the year.

This team can be special. I believe they are good enough to win the conference which is our goal! I think they can and will do it. Will they be special, we will see August 30th

An updated depth chart is normally released pretty quickly after these final scrimmages, correct?

We just dont have that big power back, like we have enjoyed the last several years...we will miss Chunn and Anderson for sure.

But what we do have that we have not had in the past are two mobile QB's. Promise you that these two QB's getting another 30 to 60 yards a game will make up for it. We are a different team this year. Just remember we have an extra runner in the backfield. I do wish we had a punishing back though, no doubt.
