By Tommy Hicks | thicks@al.com MOBILE, Alabama -- Running back Kaleb Blanchard, who was suspended throughout South Alabama's spring practice, will not return to the team, head coach Joey Jones said Monday. Blanchard, a 6-foot-0, 200-pounder from Denham Spring, La., was redshirted last season but was expected to compete for some playing time this spring and fall. Instead, he was suspended for a violation of team rules prior to the start of spring drills and never returned to the team. Jones said Monday Blanchard is no longer a member of the team and in fact is no longer enrolled at the school. ( Full Article)
