Big10, Big12, PAC12 TV deals will expire by 2023/24
Realignment strategy will change and will not be about tv markets but brands and fanbases, programs like BYU and Boise St will benefit from this

Focus will be on streaming. Major tech companies like Amazon, Facebook, Google/YT already have more cash than the big tv networks and will take over and be more interested in individual deals than conference deals. These companies can easily track every single user/viewer, eg a BYU fan watching x minutes of Cougar football in Los Angeles or a Boise State fan living and consuming media in Chicago. So conference strategies might shift towards adding schools with brand power, actual fan base, and product on the field rather than tv markets. Maybe we will see more Independents in the future and more Notre Dame / NBC type of deals or superconferences, or schools with their own deals just loosely organized in conferences.
Would be great if a more regional focus would happen and maybe Troy could end up in a conference with peer programs like Southern Miss, LA Tech, or schools like Marshall and Memphis, or we could go completely independent if other schools will do the same.
We need to keep building our brand and expand the fanbase in the next few years. Invest in facilities (endzone, IPF, Athletic dorms), secure more home-and-home deals with P5 and certain G5 programs, do extended Trojan tours, and promos. Of course, winning and producing star players would help most... so we can position ourselves.

Although certain Group of 5 schools have some time to enhance their profiles before the next round of negotiations, they must convince the big conferences that accepting them will pay off.
