When you consider the collective work of this team going into today's last regular season game, you have to THINK the selection committee has them on their radars!
Approaching a FORTY win season, currently in the top FORTY RPI rankings (higher than some of the current Top 25 Teams), and a six game winning streak ... they have done their part.
NOW (NOT to jinx them) as fans, I would encourage you to consider making plans to send these ten seniors out in style with good representation at the remaining venues YOU can attend! We brag about the sun never setting on The Trojan Nation, so look at your schedule and location to figure out which remaining games are POSSIBLE for you to attend ... TODAY's regular season finale in Troy, Sun Belt Conference Tournament in Lafayette, May 22 - 27 OR TBA Regional Site, June 1 -4.
Let us remind this team and coaches that "We ARE Trojans, One and all" !

Let us remind this team and coaches that "We ARE Trojans, One and all" ! I saw on Twitter that ULaLa and clinched the #2 seed in the SBC tourney. I guess because they have the best record in the West. Does this mean if we win today we get third? If we lose today and Ga So wins, do they get the third seed because of one less loss and a head to head series win?

I’m not a baseball fan at any level so I may not quite grasp this, but the making the baseball tourney as an at-large is just like going to the big dance as an at-large right? If that’s the case, this is a really flippin big deal that our Trojans are almost a lock (according to experts) for the big dance of baseball. Shout out to Coach Smartt and all his assistants and players. Ive kept up with the team all season, I’ve only made it to one game though. Another sign this University is headed in the right direction in athletics.

Even more so if it’s from a non power conference. Everyone should be excited about the baseball team.

There are 299 NCAA Division I baseball programs, 64 teams play for a chance to make it to the College World Series, The final numbers that the selection committee consider - wins & RPI with Troy currently at 38 wins AND RPI (changing constantly this final weekend) this morning was # 37 out of those 299 teams! As JonesOxygan said, “THAT is a flipping big deal”! GO TROJANS!
