If I were great at graphics I represent this differently but I will give this a try as a college football fan would see the calender: The year begins August 1st when camps open September thru early January....The Holy Season Early January till about February 8th recruiting debate Feb 8th- March approx. 10th boring time March 10th-Late April sort of ok time with spring ball Late April till Late May waiting for first Preseason mags Late May till late June looking at those mags Late June till 4th of July pouring over Phil Steeles mag 4th of July till camp opens pretending to enjoy family..........reunions and other stuff like that 1st of August AT LAST CAMP OPENS........with three ways to look at that....hope better, hope as good or hope for lots of alcohol at pregame
Yep that is the college football fans calender and yes I know we have to squeeze in work, weddings, etc and some of you like to shoot deer too but let's face it ....to the college football fan there is my calender and a bunch of other fillers. Thanks God for the fillers too but really really thanks for family particularly if they love college football too. Yes I am being tongue in cheek about the last thing.

I get a lot of bang from planning my season, an xcel spread sheet in March (plotting three teams ((only one in Al)) and locations that support family visits), selecting priority go-to's for each Fall weekend. April is purchasing season tickets etc, etc and booking flights and hotels. T-Day is late April.
June and July are boring as far as college football (I don't read the Steele stuff), August, the heat of the season wafts the spirit!!
Early December is cool, plotting championships games to attend and a Bowl Game hopefully!! Then there's working TV schedule around Christmas break with family...
To live for!! (My late father instilled College Football Tradition (on Saturdays) in this Ole Southern Boy!
