Obviously for men's basketball, the NCAA and NIT tournaments are not in play. The CIT only takes teams that finish the regular season .500 or better, so that's out. Our only hope to play postseason is the CBI... I hope it happens for guys like Person and Davis Jr.

Half of the CBI's teams last season were .500 or just below .500. Coastal Carolina actually went last year with a 16-17 record after winning one SBC Tourney game, exactly like us. They made it all the way to the Finals. The kicker is that the CBI requires the participating schools to pay them a crazy amount of money ($50,000 or so I believe). So I guess it all depends on our athletic department and how much they're willing to fork out for the basketball team to get extra practice and a postseason bid.
