If there is anyone that is the picture of mixed emotions this week, it’s Georgia State head baseball coach Greg Frady. To those outside the Panther program or the Troy Trojan program, the schedule this weekend reflects just the third week in Sun Belt Conference play. To Frady, though, when the Trojans step onto the Atlanta school’s baseball diamond for a Friday-Sunday series, a lot of familiar faces and great memories will greet him. Frady is a former Troy Trojan himself, having played baseball in the mid-1980s at the school. He met his future wife, Rhonda, there and was on the 1986 Division II national title team. “I was very fortunate to be a role player on a very good team. One of the best memories is I got an opportunity to play with some really great players,” Frady said Monday. “Troy was a great fit for me. Troy was the right time, right place for me in my life. ” ( Full Article) iconTroy3
