Boy I'm sure looking forward to that game! Now that I'm living in DC this would be the perfect time to plan a trip back home to the Panhandle and drive up. Then again I just realized it's Labor Day weekend..$$$$.bummer. Is this the biggest game we've hosted since Miss State in 2012? I guess Duke visited since then but I missed that one. I sure hope I can go. Haven't had any solid BBQ up here. I can taste the Hook's just thinking about it. My gameday lunch!
Well, either way this will be a great game. While the schedule has not been released yet, do we know which teams will be away and which will be home? Looking for drivable games. Obviously we won't visit Coastal Carolina again.
I will go ahead and mark the calendar for the Liberty game! Great opportunity to rep Troy and introduce their fan base to the "phalanx" of traveling Trojans. Sadly I have still never been to a Troy away game. (Ok, so I don't know if we have a cool name for our fans, so I'm going with phalanx since it's more accurate than "legion" even though that's way cooler).

If there is any way you can make it to that game, you're going to want to do so. In addition to what should be an outstanding contest, the atmosphere should be unlike any ever seen at The Vet. The north end zone facility will be complete and I can tell that building is going to make a HUGE difference in the volume of the crowd. It impacted the atmosphere tremendously the last two games of the season, and it wasn't complete yet, in fact, not all of the brick was on the wall. Bathrooms, concessions, and stAte's endzone buliding not withstanding, the Vet is about to be the class of the league and the most formidable stadium in the 'Belt.

Can't remember if it was posted on here yet ... but I checked with Sunbelt and the full schedule will be released March 1.
