So what were you saying?
Just lost to the worst team in the Sun Belt, a 4-win Louisiana-Monroe.
Was at the game. In the second half, you could tell ULM just wanted it more than Troy. The last 5 minutes of the game, our guys looked completely flat and deflated, bench was hanging their heads.
These are underwhelming results for the reigning SBC champ that has Person, Varnado, Baker, and Hicks all back.
The fact you made a thread trying to point out the win over a quite bad App State team says a lot about how the season is going...

That person we ran out is now laughing all the way to the bank.

Great person and successful scheme, but he really sank the program with his recruiting efforts as we moved from the A-Sun to the Sun Belt. It became rare to see a high school player on the roster, especially local talent.

You proved my point.

There’s old negative Nancy that cries and whines constantly. You proved my point. So are you satisfied with how the season is going? No, but I don’t feel the need to complain after every loss and then remain silent after every win like you do. I honestly feel like you enjoy the losses more than the wins.

So are you satisfied with how the season is going? No, but I don’t feel the need to complain after every loss and then remain silent after every win like you do. I honestly feel like you enjoy the losses more than the wins. I hate the losses. I want to be excited about Troy basketball again instead of wondering if after they beat a good team, they'll turn right back around and go on a 3-game losing streak against bad teams. I'm not going to come on here and say "Hooray, we beat App State!" when the team, if we're being honest, should beat App State. And it's become typical that even when Troy wins a game, they have an uncanny ability turn right back around and lose to a bad, bad team like ULM. What does it mean when you have a team that's good enough to beat a really good ETSU, a good Georgia State, and compete well against #7 Kentucky... yet lose to a really bad ULM, a really bad Coastal Carolina, a really bad North Dakota, and a really bad Austin Peay??? I complain because men's basketball has been underachieving based on the talent and facilities. Cunningham has been great at bringing in talented players. He's not been great at turning the program into a winning program again. Last season was great to watch and was a pleasant surprise, but as soon as we won the Sun Belt, the expectation had been set for Cunningham. He had starters/experienced players returning this season in Varnado, Person, Hicks, Baker, Davis Jr., and Miller. Many fans and media had high expectations for Troy to have another good season. Instead it's been a disaster. It's disappointing to see the basketball program perform so poorly with some of the best players we've had in years, and it's disappointing to see the program sinking when they used to be one of the best Division II programs in the country, and upon moving to Division I, became one of the more solid mid-major teams in the country while in the A-Sun. Now we're just a Sun Belt also-ran that's never taken seriously.

This post is just the plain and simple truth. When the fan base accepts and justifies losses and lack of any direction in a sports program it is over until change is made. Want excellence? Demand Excellence ! Justify and accept losing, Losing happens. It almost a self fulfilling prophecy. Very rare lightning strikes twice. But hey I hope it happens but just trying

When the fan base shows up at a game, and actually participates to make a difference or impact, then when can complain. Don't make many games but was at the Coastal Carolina game, lost by 1 with a pretty good crowd on hand. A casual fan could not tell who the home team was.
Lethargic fans = lethargic team imo
WE all need to better and give more support.
And this team can make run! I'm pulling for them.
