Hey guys - looking forward to the matchup in the New Orleans Bowl. Congrats on an excellent season. We know you will be a challenging opponent and it should be a good game. We've been to New Orleans a lot in years past and it is always a really good time. Great city to visit. Our fans hang out at GoMeanGreen.com. I imagine UNT is as disappointed in this pairing as we are. Don’t get me wrong, but it seems the AQ conferences are trying to separate themselves as much as possible in post season play from mid majors

Do we not like accepting bowl game invitations?

Don’t get me wrong, but it seems the AQ conferences are trying to separate themselves as much as possible in post season play from mid majors 'We' is plural. Only few are disappointed that TMTDM not play in Cold Aluminum Stadium Bowl vs. obscure team from Ohio. And who care if North Dallas 40 not excited about play TMTDM? That good for us.

North Texas is not a gimmie win. Those boys can play ball and the way we have played offense, every game for us is a toss up. That makes it fun though. I'm looking forward to the game and the joy to watching our defense play again. 25 points is the most we have allowed all season. Do we keep that stat? Plus.... I think we see some of next year's team get reps during the game.

Why does Mean Green show only one conference loss when they lost twice to FAU?

Why does Mean Green show only one conference loss when they lost twice to FAU? Because one was the conference championship game would be my guess.

Why does Mean Green show only one conference loss when they lost twice to FAU? Because one was the conference championship game would be my guess. Seems like that would be counted as a conference game since it was for the championship. Instead it's counted as an out of conference game. Doesn't make sense to me.

That’s reserved for your regular season predetermined schedule. A conference championship game is considered a post season game.

Are we really worried about their conference losses?

After 4-5 years of not bowling... we are BLESSED to be in any Bowl. Let’s count our blessings. I actually like that we can see how each program has progressed. Let’s not forget that prior to our 5 year run, UNT owned the SunBelt. This should be fun. Count ourselves blessed.
