Yesterday's announced attendance of just over 20K was the smallest of the season (still a great crowd onsidering game date and time). One thing I noticed. Even though it was the season's smallest crowd, it was one of the loudest. The concrete has been poured for the new seats which eliminated the open area for sound to escape. Though there are still some open air areas up top yet to be enclosed, and the brick is still to be installed, we got a sense yesterday of what the noise level is going to be like in The Vet, and it's going to be AWESOME.

That thick scoreboard when it gets filled in will help too. It's going to be INCREDIBLE.

Agreed! Would've been good to see more students make it back ... but but better crowd than I expected! And yes ... the closed end makes a bit difference! Can't wait to see/hear it with a full house vs. Boise next year. If we both take care of business ... a match between two ranked reigning conference champions! Go Troy!

Home season opener against Boise is going to be rocking! Whoever programs the scoreboards between the lower and upper deck should go ahead and install a noise meter. Like a Trojan horse on one end and flames that get closer and closer as it gets louder. When it gets loud enough the horse catches fire. Awesome!

Any chance we get spotlights on the Trojan statue in the open end zone? It would be very nice for night games!

The Vet is going to be a very intimidating place for opponents beginning in September, not to mention the jewel of the Funbelt.
