You ever think that maybe coaches watched him and talked to him, and for whatever reason decided not to offer him? Maybe he told coaches that he didnt want to come to Troy? Who knows. We didnt offer, he is playing for a MAC school. Good for him. I playes AISA ball. There is a huge difference in private schools playing in the AHSAA and a private school in the AISA. He played AISA ball against not so great competition. Yeah there are some good ball players in the AISA, I beleive Gaston played at Monroe Academy(AISA). But by and large it is sub par talent. Alot of stand out athletes transfered into to an AISA school to play ball for whatever reason. Your are correct. Too many folks here speak ad nauseum without having information or facts about how we coulda, shoulda, woulda recruited, coached or not coached, called plays or not called plays etc etc. And bash "Troy insiders " in one post then bash the fact there is not enough support from troy locals but have myriad reasons for themselves not participating etc, etc etc. Fact is, Troy football addressed 4 years of ugliball, hired a new coach and staff and have much to celebrate, a bowl win last year and a bowl assured this year and the conference championship in the balance. I can only speak for cornhole but I have much more confidence that CNB and staff are doing a lot of things right. Second guessers and the shoulda woulda coulda keyboard coaches here DO make this entertaining to read!! Entertainers!!

I think about what CNB says often ... it's hard to win college football games! So, we can certainly find issues with performance, game plans, play calling, etc .... but much rather do it being 8-2 and with chance to finish 11-2 and Conference Champions!! I LOVE when Troy is Winning!! Go Trojans!

Why are we arguing about this? We have got some really good QBs in the wings. Who’s arguing?
