Is this a bowl for us or just another home game? Tucson Arizona would at least be a nice trip for the handful that would go out there

FYI, the bowl schedule is no good this year in terms of corresponding with elementary and high schools in Alabama. School is still in session during that first round of bowl games meaning, who is gonna make a weekend trip to Orlando just before Christmas when they have to be in school Fri and Mon.
I'm pulling for New Orleans, Mobile or Montgomery.

Why can't the Sun Belt get a bowl at Georgia State? Nice facility and plenty to see and do, plus a reasonable trip for Sun Belt east schools. Camellia bowl could be for the HBCU bowl or FCS title game

Win or lose out I think Troy is going to be picked for the Camellia bowl....I went to Camellia Bowl last year and Montgomery does a nice job with that bowl...the pre-game introductions were awesome and the PA announcer for that game was really good....I personally am holding out hope for New Orleans though.

Troy: New Orleans Ark State: Mobile Georgia State: Montgomery App State: Orlando NMSU: Arizona Id like that....the shake up will be if ulm or ull get to bowl eligible...they will get the New Orleans Bowl and Ga State or NMS will be staying home unless another conference can't meet their bowl tie ins

Arrogance is the norm in Tuscaloosa saw it from ground level Saturday I had this conversation with a psychiatrist friend of mine. His take is that Bama is the one thing most of their fans have that make them feel worthy. I've been wearing Troy gear and experienced the "Roll Tide" scream at me.

The Camellia Bowl in one of our tie-ins. What would FCS and/or HBCU have to do with it? Just saying other arrangements can be made Since ALL of these lower tier bowls are owned by ESPN, the first step in making any kind of "other arrangements" is to convince ESPN to either create a new bowl or renegotiate contracts across the board. If you want to tackle that bear, go at it.

Oh,great Crampton Bowl.....is playing a bowl game in Montgomery less than an hour from campus really that much of a reward?? It depends on the opponent first. Second, certainly saves A TON OF MONEY for the University. Troy (all schools) LOSES money on their bowl game. Even as good as we are getting, to get ANY PAYOUT, we have to sell 17,500 tickets, and that will be very, very difficult, IMO. I say Cure Bowl, lots of reasons for me, basically, it's the only bowl game I have a shot at attending. My 'little Miss Priss' graduates from UF at 10:00 that morning. It would be AWESOME to take her directly to a bowl game in Orlando, to watch a GOOD college football team play!!! Just selfish, would love the Cure Bowl!!!!!
