I listened to several of the interviews that CNB did around b-ham yesterday. Very impressed by the way he carried himself with poise in an area that doesn't follow Troy sports like it could be. Very informative, relatable and entertaining. I was so glad to hear that he puts family first and I love the way he shared his vision and strategy for a successful culture. A great coach, a great leader and most importantly a great family man. We are in great hands...at least for one more year.

I wonder how the UAB fans and higher ups felt about CNB taking over the airways?? Same thing in Mobile last week, i am sure the Ath Dept higher ups loved hear Troy take over the airwaves!
Great progressive thinking by our Athletic Dept.

Every time I hear CNB speak I KNOW that he will be well versed on the topic. He KNOWS what he wants to cover and is prepared for any questions that might be asked (even those that might be off topic). A couple of the interviews he carried because the interviewer did not have the same work ethic as Coach!! I am confident that many people listening yesterday walked away from their televisions or radios thinking Troy has an impressive Coach who appears to be doing great things. NOW all we need is for the Troy alumni in The Birmingham Metro Area to use this recent Troy Media Blitz, get fired up and continue the momentum. Easiest thing each alum could do is GET one person who has NEVER been to Troy to a game this fall. Remember this Adopted Trojan's first visit to Troy was the Idaho game in 2003 and we were hooked!

I've said many times, this media tour in Mobile and Birmingham has been one of the best ideas our athletic department has ever had. To go into South and UAB's front yard and remind everyone in their city that Troy was 10-3, won a bowl game, ranked in the top 25, have a pre-season defensive ranking in the top 10 this year, got attention for the comments about Bama and Auburn... all of this is priceless info that you can't put in an ad on TV, radio or newspaper. Instead, it comes from the head coach. In addition to that, they are handing our jerseys left and right to media members... great way to get them on your side!

CNB does his homework, "gets it" and promotes the program. Great Leader for Troy Athletics.
"Gets it", at all levels. Most notable attribute and rare for Troy Athletics. We are blessed with his touch.

Great progressive thinking by our Athletic Dept. Glad to see your coach gets it. But to answer your question: UAB is getting coverage weekly (daily when fall camp opens) by B'ham ABC, NBC, FOX, and CBS TV affiliates and WJOX will most likely have Coach Clark as a weekly guest again this year. Coach Clark and UAB recently hosted members of the Alabama Sports Writers Association as well as serving as host for the AP Sports Editors conference... we've had ESPN, SI, FOXSports, NBCsports all on campus to cover the return and to create content for the start of the college football season. So, no, I don't think a day of Troy coverage was of much concern to anyone at UAB.

I figured as much given the oddity of self induced death penalty dfollowed by self resuscitation...can't wait to see chapter 3

WELL I am pleased to report that short term memory is still functioning with the Birmingham Media Community!!! Troy announced the game with Ole Miss yesterday AND it was on the local news casts THE SAME DAY! Trust me, that is GREAT news ... normally they MIGHT cover it days later IF they needed to fill air time. GO TROJANS!!
NOW to see how their long term memory is, say in 70 days !
