Evidently no one is nominating them. I have the utmost respect for Dr Long and Doug Hawkins but HOF?? IMO it should be for players and coaches only

IMO it should be for players and coaches only Danny Breeden was the FIRST Trojan (Red Waver-1961-1963) to make the major leagues as a catcher (Cincinnati and Chicago I think) that we are aware of and he is in the baseball hall at Troy but for Pete sake what does he have to do to get into that big Hall of Fame? I see tons of folks in that Hall that never reached the major leagues, NBA or NFL. It drives me nuts trying to figure it out. I've mentioned him to the powers that be (AD's and Coaches) numerous times yet nothing.

I don't understand inducting band leaders, administrators, and others that didn't coach or play. Troy owes a great deal to Johnny Long but not the Sports HOF. Just my opinion on this

Just my opinion on this I don't have an issue with deserving non athletes going into the Athletic Hall of Fame if it's in a completely separate section so identified and separated but when I look at the Hall I do understand how all these guys and gals got there but I wonder why others as accomplished or more so, are not seen as deserving. I've never understood TWO Halls of Fame, baseball and everything else. To ME, if you are good enough to be in one Hall you should be in THE BIG HALL. Solve the problem by making all other Hall members roll into the BIG HALL and have just ONE! JMHO!
