Take a few seconds and take a look at this: Lowest Point: September 27th, 2014. We were 0-5 with a loss to FCS ACU and ULM, with a 0-66 defeat at Georgia. Massey Rating was 127 out of 128 teams. Wow! Progress: Late December, 2015. Blowouts by halftime vs ULM and NMSU, and the overtime loss vs APP were strong indicators of an improving future. Massey Rating improved to 99 out of 128 teams. High Point: November 12th, 2016. Troy is 8-1 with wins over defending CUSA divisional champ USM, rival USA, a stunning win over APP, and a close loss to now #1 Clemson. Massey rating was 30 out of 128 teams. Current: Early January: Troy finishes with 10 wins for the first time in FBS history with a bowl win over the current MAC divisional champ. www.masseyratings.com/cf/arch/compare2014-5.htmwww.masseyratings.com/cf/arch/compare2016-8.htmFrom 127 to 99 to 30 (ended the season at 46), Neal Brown & Co. have done a hell of a job. With what we have coming back and what we we're getting on the recruiting trail, this could be a big, big year.

Neal brought in discipline, got rid of attitude and drug problems, instilled a work ethic and didn't make excuses for losing. The result is a return to Troy Football which is Championship Football. Great job by NB, the players that bought in and the coaching staff. Here is to a great 2017 season. Go Trojans!!!!!
