When South Alabama has a game they run a shuttle from a shopping mall to the game. I know that USA has nothing to do with the Bowl, but does anyone know if there will be alternate places to park and pick up a shuttle?

I think during a bowl game you can park at the stadium, at least you could last time. They dont let you do that during USA games so they can sell season parking passes. I would think they would have a shuttle again, they do during the Senior Bowl.

I was told today that there will be a shuttle from the Riverview hotel to the stadium for $5 per person and will run 1 hour post game. This was not from an athletics employee, but a friend who checked on it.

I was told today that there will be a shuttle from the Riverview hotel to the stadium for $5 per person and will run 1 hour post game. This was not from an athletics employee, but a friend who checked on it. An investment advisor would say "past performance does not guarantee future results". While that's true, past performance is a good place to start in predicting future results. What does this have to with anything? In '09, we took the shuttle from the Riverview to the game. This experience turned into a nightmare. We waited outside the Riverview for a shuttle that arrived well over an hour later than the announced first run time. What could have been a pleasant trip became a cattle haul as the bus driver (actually drivers, as there was more than one bus), in an effort to get the large crowd to the stadium before game time packed us on until we could be packed no more. We stood, literally body touching body, for more than a thirty minute ride (funny how the return ride was 10 minutes). Some shuttle riders didn't arrive at the game until after the kickoff. Speaking of the return ride, the wait for the bus after the game was even longer. We stood on the side of the road that borders the stadium parking lot for almost an hour and a half in the 28 degree warmth. At least on the return ride, my wife and I were fortunate enough to get a seat. I realize this experience may be an outlier, but if I were able to make game this year, I'd explore ALL available options before taking the shuttle. That's just my .02, but a word to the wise......

I have no intentions of riding the shuttle, unless someone can confirm to me that it's much improved.

Usually park at the Mobile PD Equestrian center on Virginia Street. $10.00 plus the entertaining walk back late at night.

One word: Uber.

Uber wasn't around in '09, but I'd sure consider it now. If not Uber, a cab with half a twenty as a tip, the other half on the completion of the return trip.
