Troy guard Jeffrey Mullahey was nominated for the 2014 Allstate NABC Good Works Team. Mullahey’s resume of community service accomplishments include: • Spending summers improving the Pace area by installing wheelchair ramps throughout the community • Volunteering with the Ronald McDonald House • Tutoring his fellow students through Troy’s tutoring program • Speaking to youth and collegiate students in Southeast Alabama through Breakout For the second year, Allstate and the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) are recognizing a select group of men’s college basketball student-athletes who stand out for their charitable achievements and community involvement. The players nominated for this prestigious honor are committed to enriching the lives of others while contributing to the greater good of their communities. Trojan men prepare for home swing The Troy University men’s basketball team will return home after a successful two-game trip to Arkansas. The Trojans knocked off Sun Belt Conference rivals Arkansas State and UALR on the trip putting them back in league contention. Troy (7-9, 2-2 Sun Belt) will host ULM on Thursday and Louisiana-Lafayette on Saturday at Trojan Arena. ( Full Article) iconTroy3
