Just received a email from Steve Stroud about a press conference Thurs at 11am in the stadium club about a big facilities announcement. I can only guess this is about the End Zone project. You can view it on troytrojans.com also. I do pray the info is correct this time and if so maybe we will see dirt moving soon

Just remember, at the end of the movie all good things come true:)

As I have said before, the current athletics admin as well as Hartwell and company walked into a nightmare. We need to pretend this is the first time we have heard about this and get excited for whatever it may be. If it is the North End Zone (and maybe indoor??) I would be willing to bet the shovels will be close by. This bunch certainly has their act together.

They wouldn't send out that email if it wasn't 100% I understand that, my point was be 100% correct on the into. I sat through a video presentation in April given to a group of former players and were told we would break ground in June and be in it by the start of the 2017 season. I hope, and I would assume this being a official press conference that all the ducks are in a row now. I'll be relieved when the shovell hits the ground. Go Troy

On the bright side at least we got those Chinese warriors, amphitheater, and birdbath thingy built.

And that's not even taking into account our Phoenix City and greater Viet Cong campuses

It was always grouped with a hopeful goal.

I heard a 5 star recruit was committing to Troy because of the commitment to the arts AND the thousands of Chinese warriors who he could sit and talk with 24/7.

Positively given a date. It was asked and answered. That was what was aggravating when it didn't happen. Maybe they were given misinformation. I don't blame them, if the administration knew different they should not have given that info.

Yall got it all wrong. It is not going to be the North endzone project. It's going to be "The New Trojan Dome"! We are getting a full Superdome sized facility with state of the art everything. There will be shopping.. Tiffany, Hermes etc... and dining.. Nobu, Le Bernardin etc. Also a Four Seasons Resort. Dr. Hawkins just signed a deal with the Chinese to bring in more students and he made enough cash to cover the new dome and more. I heard it from a friend.

Why do we need a 4 star resort when we already have a Days Inn, Super 8, Econo Lodge, Motel 6 and a Scottish Inn?? And shopping? We have Wal Mart

When they did I doubt a Troy campus was what they were looking for.

Hopefully it will increase the popularity in the Chatt Valley. I'm tired of seeing csu, au, is and Bama stuff and no dang Troy stuff. Most from from the Columbus only know of Troy by those campuses. You know how the baseball field in Houston for the Astros has that slanting field......well we are incorporating the amphitheater into our brand new covered stadium...so half the game we sort of go up hill some but should make for better viewing...and was not a friend of mine who told me....Dear leader came to me in a dream but he had Hemis head and Ho's accent....

I know there a lot of sarcasm but let's all get behind the announcement. Much kudos to Hartwell for hiring several GREAT coaches which has gotten us back to where we need to be in several sports. This is Jeremy's deal and I don't fault him one bit for taking time to make sure it is done right. As a matter of fact, I have a great deal of respect for not bowing down to pressure to put shovels in the ground. I believe we will all be very pleased with the product and it will make you proud to be a Troy Trojan and fan.

I just thought I would share this. At my last tailgate, we were talking about facilities and my wife with a complete poker face says... "They should put bigger tvs in the restrooms. The ones they have now are too small." She sees the jealousy in my face and she says "Yall don't have tvs? Hmm"

Me might get a curve ball and announce that we are starting a kricket team and building a stadium but I have to believe this is about football. After the April presentation I will be skeptical until I see dirt moving. To many false stories on this but I think with "official" press conference it's for real this time.
