I need help. I have a friend who is trying to buy 11 tickets to the App State game. He has tried to buy them using his phone, his I pad and his laptop. At some point in the process, on each of the devices, the option to continue the purchase process goes away and he can't complete the purchase. Being the nice guy I am, I was going to help him out and purchase them for him. I run into the same issue. I am not allowed to buy 11 tickets. I can, however, buy 10, in either reserved, or GA sections, using best available or select my own seat option.
My question is, does the online order process cap the purchase at 10 tickets? Does the purchase of more than 10 require a phone call to the ticket office? I really want to help make this process easy for him, I'd hate for him to get frustrated and decide to forget the whole affair.
HELP!

I'd call, talk to a real person and tell him/her what I want to do.

I suppose I should have been more clear. After we both had difficulty with the site, he decided he would call the ticket office today. I suppose my question should have been more directed to determining if a problem really exists and if so, finding a way to fix it. If on line ticket sales is limited to 10 tickets, the purchase site should indicate that is the case in order to prevent someone from making multiple attempts to make the page "work" and becoming frustrated when it doesn't. I suppose this is a good problem to have. I'm not sure many blocks of > 10 tickets have been bought in the last few years.

Ok...that does clarify it...I misunderstood. Well, maybe the SID would be able to contact the web design folks and they could take a look-see?

Yes, our new ticketing system is set to allow on-line sales of up to 10 per order. 11+ tickets would either require multiple orders or a call to the Ticket Office. Hopefully we get this comment often and have to raise the limit of tickets per on-line order!
Thanks- Steve

Hopefully we get this comment often and have to raise the limit of tickets per on-line order! Thanks- Steve Thanks for the info. I have no problem with this, in fact, it may be a good thing to get an athletic department representative on the phone with those who want large blocks of tickets. I think, however, that there should be notification of this on the order page. Though not angry, my friend was frustrated that after multiple tries on multiple devices he was unsuccessful in his attempt to purchase tickets. Thankfully, he reached out to me for help rather than just giving up out of frustration. That may not be the case next time. We don't have a waiting list for ticket buyers, nor do we pack out a 100K + seat stadium weekly. We can't afford to alienate potential buyers/donors.
