USA only had 14,741 in attendance when playing top 25 SDSU at Home. GA South attendance was 17,691. Nicholls attendance was 13,086.
Attendance for the Troy game was 30,837. The numbers do not lie.

Great point and a very impressive turnout by the TROJANS who were able to make the trip. This will bode well for us when time for bowl selection committees to make their decisions.

I hope this translates to a huge crowd for the UMass game.

South actually had a really good crowd. Yes, Troy brought a very good crowd, but 15k?? We probably had 5-6k, which is great for a midweek game. The city of Mobile really showed up tonight. It was great to be a part of that atmosphere. I hoped South brings up a bunch of fans next year to help the vet rock a little harder.

I think you missed my point as I did not say they were all Troy fans. The Fact TROY was playing brought in the attendance (up by 15K+) and doubles that attendance of a TOP 25 team at home for USA. I do however think Troy had more. If Troy was only 5 or 6K then USA had a EXTRA 10K fans show up to watch Troy over a TOP 25 team LOL.

All who support Troy...Excellent Job. I could not attend but watched with pride last night. It's great to see people getting excited about us again. Maybe all of the folks who went to Troy but spend their weekends and money in Auburn and Tuscaloosa will find a reason to support their school again soon. Cheers to the Trojans and coach Brown.

Can someone with connections in the athletic department/ticket office get us an official number of tickets dispensed through our school? After we sold our original allotment, were we given more tickets? I'm interested to know how many TROY fans had to go outside our ticket distribution sources to get a ticket.

Not sure of #, but i do know the student tickets were not dispensed through athletics, the SGA worked through USA directly. It's how they got the tickets so cheap, athletics MUST sell their allotment at face cost, $25. So whatever the # is, add those plus SOTS to get your total. No telling how many others bought GAs through USA ticket outlets in Mobile.

I think we'll get between 20 and 25 for APP, but not for UMASS.

I think we'll get between 20 and 25 for APP, but not for UMASS. I was thinking this game will be our best chance for 30k but I agree I don't think we will get to 30k... Oh how I long for the day where we have 30k actual butts in seats for a home game...one day!

For those fence riding Bama fans, the UMASS game is perfect. We will finish around 6:00-6:30 and Bama vs LSU starts at 7:00. Hear that student Bama lover. Stay all 4 quarters.

A Troy grad friend of mine (who lives in Troy, walking distance from the stadium) will skip Troy games for Bama games. flamingmad I'll make sure he comes to this one. Save
