I doubt Troy will have any difficulties unless a very different GaSt team shows up in Troy than they brought to Boone. While their D played a decent game, the O couldn't get any traction. Of course, it seems that Troy is top dog this year, so I'm guessing you'll get everybody's best game.

He continues to caution us about GAST...coach speak or should we be worried? We are young. Neal is very intelligent. He knows his biggest task is keeping the players grounded and focused. He touched on that very issue tonight on Trojan Talk. Having said that I do think Georgia St is a very good defensive team.

I was thinking the same thing that his statement was for the players...he included us as fans as well so it made me go hmmm...

Watched the Panthers game in the Dome last week, their record understates the talent and potential there. CNB is wise.

He also said we need to be focused on ourselves. We need to continue to get better. Any team in the belt can beat us if we don't take daily improvement seriously.

If we win the turnover battle we will win the game and also will walk away with it late.
If we lose the turnover battle and they get a spark on that cylinder that's been down on the offensive side (Which they will at some point this season) then we might have a close one Saturday. Maybe even that loss that shouldn't happen, that ALWAYS happens, that DT84 has been talking about.

The familiarity of conference opponents can always make a matchup a little more interesting.

Never over look and always advise caution against any opponent, whether they be NAIA or FBS elite. Anyone can be beat on any given Saturday

I was worried until the last play of the game.....not our best today. I agree, it was not our best effort. Surprisingly, CNB had only positive things to say on the radio post game show. Barry and Jerry both said he seemed to be excited that the team responded to the 3rd quarter adversity in the manner they did. Boys growing into men, maybe?

You have to ask yourself, how would this team 2 years ago have responded to this type of adversity? Great time to be a Trojan!
