Never ever overlook THE next game!!! With that in mind over the next two weeks Troy will planing the next two weeks games...Georgia State we should be ok as long as early season hype does not get to the guys and it's at home and it is THE next game......then 5 days later a team who will have played Ark St on Saturday while we play homecoming...I tell you what they could lose to Ark St and it would make no difference. A Thursday game national TV and those guys seem to play much better against the hyped teams...face it we win in two weeks and if Clemson and USM keep winning we will be hyped..
I always believe that the next game is the most important but that Thursday game in Mobile will not be easy...

I worry about the South game, too. They will be ready for us, for sure.

The SBC schedule in a lot of ways set us up with the easiest games first, with the toughest games later in the season. Idaho was tougher than NMSU, and GSU will be tougher yet. They have no offense at all, but their defense is legit. South will be by far the toughest of the first four SBC games. We better be ready. We need to take this week off to prep for both games so we don't roll into USA with only a couple days of prep.

Troy can beat Georgia State, though it's their defense that will present problems for Troy. GSU ranks 128 out of 128 teams in many significant offensive categories. They are very, very bad offensively. If Troy prepares, and doesn't overlook them going into South Alabama, they should win convincingly. No gimmies left on the schedule by any means, but they are certainly manageable going forward.

If this were a Sat game I think we would bring 6k or more hopefully at least half of that can still show...as for homecoming I will disappointed if 23650 do not show

I'm thinking of going to the USA game. I would have to work that Friday but one zombie day might be worth it.

Taking thursday and friday off. Hoping my buddy is going to be able to go down there with me.
Ga St. Gave App St all they wanted last week. They played Wisconsin pretty well. They are not going to be a push over. I do believe our loss against them last year is enough to keep the players from looking ahead. That game against South wont mean much of we dont take care of business against Ga St.

We destroy South this year. We place them in a vice grip and squeeze what little positive brain matter is there out and set it on fire. We annihilate them.

I like the enthusiasm for the South game but we CAN NOT overlook Georgia State. Its NEXT game up, not the next one after.

These next 2 games scare me...
I say if we win the next 2, we finish 12-1 on the season and we'll be looking for new coaches next year.

Next two are tough, both teams have shown they can play and win.
On a different note if we win these next two we are 6-1 and bowl eligible. It's great to be a Troy Trojan

If we come to play, we'll clobber them. They are dead last in the country in several major offensive categories, including scoring offense. I except VK to have a field day and don't see GSU slowing down our offense. www.cfbstats.com/2016/leader/national/team/offense/split01/category09/sort01.html

GA State is a bug on the windshield of the TMTDM. We win by 40. I bet CNB and staff aren't letting the players think that way. I bet they're as serious as the Clemson game, if not more so because it's a conference game.
