I appreciate all of the messages/questions, but I have no updates on the North End Zone Project. When I know…you will know.

From the first announcement of the north end zone project to now I managed to graduate college with my bachelors, almost finish my masters, have my first job, get married, have a kid, move to New Jersey, have my 2nd job, and I'm still waiting for the north Endzone I'm sure the list of events will continue before we break ground 30 yrs later. Anyone else want to share their life events of accomplishments since the first announcement almost a decade ago

We successfully repelled an alien invasion, rebuilt our entire world, and now after twenty years we are defending the world again against another alien invasion... still no endzone building...

Maybe we can call it "The Big Foot Building". We have seen sketches of what both look like, but there is no physical proof that either exist.

Possum, I can assure you that if Hemi had anything to do with the North End Zone project, the facility would have had a nice tailgate section fully stocked with delicious food and extremely cold beverages. I never saw anything like that on either of the renditions (sketches) so I must assume Hemi has no responsibility whatsoever! I, for one, still have not given up hope that the ground will soon break for this project. Let's all stay tuned for further news and developments.....
Go TROY!

It is kind of my fault. I dropped off a $2,000,000 check, but forgot to sign it. I also borrowed the ground breaking shovels for a home project.

May 30th 2012 - Troy University’s plans of expanding Veterans Memorial Stadium are still in the fund raising stages according to Athletic Director Steve Dennis. Dennis said the bid process will likely begin within the next week and once completed a timetable will be set to finish the project before football practice resumes in early August. It is speculated that the process of replacing the turf will take three weeks.
Then in 2013, John Hartwell alongside football head coach Larry Blakeney and former Trojan Lawrence Tynes, Hartwell unveiled to the Trojan Nation “The Future of Troy Athletics” with the breathtaking North End Zone Project for Veterans Memorial Stadium. The building, which is estimated to cost between $25-28 million, will catapult Troy to the forefront of the arms race in college football.
August, 14th 2015 - McClain, named the school’s athletic director Friday, pronounced the long-dreamt north end zone expansion project as a vital component of Troy’s football future. He said the expansion will begin “soon,” and chancellor Jack Hawkins Jr. said “real soon.”
July 14th 2016 - Decided that I'm just going to stick to surfing.
Surf Report: Minimal (ankle high or less) surf. Clean in the morning with NNW winds 5-10mph. Semi glassy/semi bumpy conditions for the afternoon with the winds shifting SSE less than 5mph. The high will be 91 degrees and the low will be 77 degrees.
