Personally, I like the idea of an electronic ticket stored on a smart phone. That said, however, I remember 2 years ago when the ticket appearance was on the cheesy side (no foil decoration, no flash). Folks here complained about how the appearance didn't fit the image of a successful DI program. Last year the tickets were first class in appearance and everybody was happy. While I can't explain it, there's something about holding a flashy, attractive ticket package (maybe the foil causes an endorphin release) that we all like. The appearance of the tickets has no bearing on the team's ability, execution, effort, or results, but we all want to hold those fine looking tickets in mid August. In the end, as long as the tickets issued get us all in the gates, it'll be good. I'm ready to "cry HAVOC".

These are my three season tickets for nearly 70 Pensacola Blue Wahoos games (AA Affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds). Bar codes are on the back. I pull them out of my pocket, they scan them...pretty simple. They probably cost less than $1 to make. This sure would save on printing and shipping costs. We would just need to invest in the technology. Surf Report:The surf is running shin to maybe knee high. The wind is blowing out of the WSW at 2-4 mph and the air temperature is 83 degrees. High tide was at 12:40 early this morning and low tide is at 9:54 tonight. It doesn’t look like the surf is going to build and it looks like lots of flatness for the weekend unfortunately.

This makes sense for several reasons. 1) saves money 2) eliminates the chance of forgetting tickets (guilty of that once) 3) students get in with ID card, why can't season ticket holders 4) see #1. Cost of printing savings alone could be used on something else....like reusable Troy beer mugs for the game facebookthumbup

Everyone wants to save money when possible and IF you think about it maybe that was the original intentions of the Athletic Department. I can not remember what envelope my tickets came in last year, but people are complaining about the envelopes being too small this year. IF they are the same envelopes that were purchased in bulk to use for a couple of years ... THEN have you thought about WHY they worked last year and not this year? The increased number of parking passes are probably not the reason (BUT a nice change that I do not remember anyone mentioning). I will give you a hint, look at last year's schedule compared to this year's schedule.
I guess I am trying to be a glass half full guy, IF I had to choose between the condition of last year's ticket mailing and this year's ... I choose PLUS ONE ! Think about it, "GlueGate" would never have happened if we didn't have to deal with six home games this season. Still staying positive, think about the fact that the glue might have kept all of your tickets IN the envelope.
See EVERYONE in TWO weeks! GO TROJANS!!!!

My tickets arrived yesterday. Envelope was undamaged and the tickets and all inserts arrived in pristine condition. Is it Saturday yet?

The Dream's tickets came so flawlessly packaged that his 6-year-old niece opened it and didn't mess anything up.
