TROY – The most experienced Troy running back finally returned to the field this week, and he displayed Saturday he could be a versatile asset to the Trojan offense in 2016. Jordan Chunn – with 21 career rushing touchdowns – was fairly effective in the passing game Saturday as he hauled in three passes that produced first downs from Brandon Silvers for the Cardinal squad on T-Day. That could help the Trojans in the long run, given former Trojan tailback Brandon Burks had 88 receptions for 673 yards and three touchdowns in the last three years of his career. “We ran the ball a little bit, but most of the plays I was in, we kinda had a little pass option,” the junior said. “I guess the wide receiver Chunn was out there.” It has been a long year for Chunn, who is 13 rushing touchdowns away from tying the Trojans’ career rushing touchdowns record. www.dothaneagle.com/sports/troy/running-back-chunn-displays-versatility-in-return/article_70f3cf1a-09d4-11e6-b8f4-db2ca52343f3.html
