Interesting.....pile of bricks Yea, let's not enhance the fans experience. But Mr. Ho will remain optimistic until he see no vision for the home side of field. Oh and gigantic banners of great TMTDM player.

I am actually more impressed with the University of Albany renderings.....who knew they played football? They get it. Enhance the fans experience and watch the crowds grow. Keep the same cold, stale dump and watch the crowd dwindle. Even when TMTDM win big, stadium still not full.

I don't know ... the Albany plan looks like something from early 70s ... cement and a bit tacky. Couldn't tell if there was shag in the boxes or not? Yes our design looks like other buildings on campus ... which I think is good. I think the b'ball arena is very nice ... epecially when lit up at night. So, don't mind the outside at all! Now, I do hope they have some nice entrance areas with "History" ... banners, etc.

I don't see any other way than how it is being done. I do agree that we need banners and some kind of fan area show casing our proud history. I mean a casual fan who has started attending the last five years might think we haven't won anything since 1968, 1984 and 1987. Nothing else is listed about the 1-AA days and the 2006-10 run.

Right now the fan experience is awful at Memorial Stadium. Lines everywhere, nasty restrooms, seating issues all needing attention. I do wonder what other design could be presented that wouldn't "look like another pile of red bricks" but would fit the decor we already have. I too think the gym is beautiful, inside and out. The facade of the new building will have to blend with what we have or a complete face job will be needed and the money is not there for that.

This is a negative post for someone that said we could be only posting positive things. On a side note: your post is correct because you are being real and stating fact. And it could lead to more discussion that could lead to positive change ! See how that works....

Is that factually correct ?

Ok, generally speaking does our basketball program stink. Is that factually correct ? The basketball program has been a disappointment to me and to most fans I'm sure and things like poor foul shooting and less than 100% effort ought not exit on any team. I can't attend games do I can't make a fair personnel judgement. I base my thoughts on the statistics of games and comments by those that do attend. Both should be dealt with immediately so not to carry over to next year. Some quality recruiting with some strong standards of effort of play might turn things around but expectations for improvement are becoming a fair assessment!
