After a 93-88 loss to Ga Southern in OT Troy is 0-4 In conference play. Previously 0-3 GA Southern who was tied with Troy for last place in the SBC. Troy claims sole possession of last place.
Ga Southern has the youngest team in the sbc (maybe nation) with their oldest player a sophomore.

they will get over that hump soon. to much fight in these guys This has been said the past 2-3 weeks now. The season is halfway over, and we just lost to the worst team in the Sun Belt that has VERY little college experience. Troy got their tails handed to them in the first half, big time. If it wasn't for Georgia Southern losing steam and having no depth, this would've been a 20+ point loss. What's worse, is that even with Troy's terrible free throw percentage (once again), Georgia Southern was even worse... and they still won. But I guess we'll keep waiting for this team to get over the hump...

But we're so much improved. Doesn't matter if we win or not.

in my four years at Troy we won two baseball Nat. Championships, two GSC football championships, a football national championship, a basketball final four appearance and a golf national championship. So what if it was D2, you still had to win those. There are some that enjoyed high athletic success at Troy and enjoyed for the most part, all our sports excelling. Losses are negative, stating facts when Troy is losing is negative. That's all I will say on this. Some of you defend and accept losing. Sorry, I was not brought up that way or coached that way.

Then do explain? If our program is moving in the right direction then why is our record worse each season?

As far as getting over the hump, the new AD expects results, so the days of letting coaches just cruise and lose will not happen long term.

Then do explain? If our program is moving in the right direction then why is our record worse each season? It's been addressed in several threads on the last few days. Personally I think we they will end up near the middle of the pack this year. The best players are underclassmen. This team is young with a lot of upside potential. I really think at this point they have to learn how to win. Regardless of their record they are improving. Pretty much anyone that has watched them play can clearly see it.
