Here are some of the highlights from the contract, which ends on May 31, 2018:
Adidas gives up to $110,000 in free merchandise to Troy from the Team Sales catalog. The gear is purchased at the discretion of the Troy University Athletics Director.
For one year only, Adidas gives the university a "buy one, get one free" deal for a third color football uniform.
There is also a "buy one, get one free" deal on a "strategy" football uniform and for game footballs every year.
Troy's baseball program gets 432 on field game hats per year.
The men and women's basketball teams get 24 free game basketballs per year.
Troy gets 45 percent off the retail price of Adidas shoes and 30 percent off the retail price of Adidas miteam shoes.
Troy gets 50 percent off all other apparel and custom uniforms.
Troy has to buy more than $150,000 a year from Adidas. If not, it will have to pay the manufacturer money to make up for the shortfall.
Adidas will pay the athletic department $10,000 in gear if the football team plays in a game prior to Dec. 29; $20,000 in gear for if the football team plays in a bowl game after Dec. 30; and, $3,000 in gear if the football coach being named conference coach of the year. The football coach will also receive $2,000 in gear for using Adidas footballs for game, practice and media purposes.
Adidas will pay the athletic department $3,000 in gear if the baseball team plays in the NCAA regionals and $5,000 if it plays in the College World Series.
Adidas does not have any incentives for Troy's softball team. Representatives for Adidas were not available for immediate comment.
Adidas will pay the athletic department $5,000 in product for if the men or women's basketball team reaches the NCAA tournament and $10,000 if they reach the NCAA Sweet Sixteen.
Adidas will pay the athletic department $2,000 in gear if any teams play in NCAA post-season Olympic sports. The athletic department also receives $1,000 in gear if any Olympic sport coaches are named conference coach of the year.

Troy has to put an Adidas logo on all materials used to market Troy athletics including schedules, posters, camp brochures, and coaches' clinics.
The Adidas logo must be placed along the Troy University press conference backdrop banner.
Adidas also has the option to put a flyer into the Troy season ticket holder mailings.
There must be two Adidas corporate logo signs within the football complex. Both end zone goal posts have to be covered by a padded donut sponsored by Adidas.
There has to be a link on the www.troytrojans.com homepage listing Adidas as 'Official Corporate Sponsor.' Right now, there is an Adidas logo, but no accompanying text identifying it as a sponsor.
