Troy is playing tough with UAB. The Blazers are playing some solid defense and they can really shoot. I'm surprised Troy is still even in the game because they can't make a 3-pointer for their life.

We didn't shoot well tonight. That's the biggest reason we lost. No doubt UAB is a very good team. Maybe the best we will face this year.

Troy hasn't shot well at all this season against D1 opponents. They were horrendous from 3-point range against USF and were horrendous tonight. We won't be winning many games this year if that keeps up. These boys need to go practice their 3-point shooting.

During the Maestri era, y'all complained that Troy shot too many 3s. Now we don't shoot enough?
Cmon fellas.

It was just one of those nights. When one of your starters ends up 0-12 FG, 0-7 from three it's tough to win. But I do expect better games, this team has some talent and young talent at that.

I know this is early... but barring any guys transferring or leaving the team, and considering the starters and talent that comes back... next year's squad should be special...

Men's team is has a record of 2-1 and their only loss is to the best team in the state and the preseason pick to win CUSA. Nice try to spread your negativity here, but it's not happening.

I believe that, if they stay healthy and keep a good attitude, this team is capable of 20 wins. They will most assuredly have the best record of the Phil Cunningham era. This is not a "wait 'til next year team".

This is not a "wait 'til next year team". Have stated a lot that it would take Coach 4 years to rebuild because of the absolute dumpster fire he inherited. Still think next year is the year that make a run. No doubt this is shaping to be Coach's best year
